Women's Highlanders  View Printable Version
Wednesday, May 05 2010 @ 09:44 PM PDT

The Highlanders Women hit the pitch this Sunday May 9th at 2:30pm and included in the lineup are 4 Castaways players. The season opener will be free as a Mother's Day special out at their home field Bear Mountain Stadium, which is also where the Men's team call home. The Highlanders organization is doing a great job at promoting women's soccer in this city and with their 1st team and reserve squad hope to have a quality place for girls/women to play at an elite level.

Coaching staff for the 1st team include Castaways coaching consultant Dave Dew (head coach), Castaways Premier coach Natalie Work (assistant coach), Prospect Lake Premier coach John Leier (assistant coach) and Carlos Almeida (goalie coach).

The girls would like to encourage you all to come out and cheer them on. Bring out your friends, your team mates, your family and most importantly your cow bells.

Click the "read more" link below for more info about the players and check out the Highlanders website for full game schedules and information at the Highlanders Website
